Board Meetings
The Heartland Library Cooperative Governing Board will meet Wednesday, September 15th, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Conference Room of the Lake Placid Memorial Library, 205 West Interlake Boulevard, Lake Placid, FL 33852.Meetings are normally scheduled for the third Wednesday of odd numbered months. However, meetings may sometime be rescheduled due to conflicts. Notice of all meetings is reported to the respective County Administrator's Offices for every meeting to comply with Sunshine Law requirements.
The mission of the Heartland Library Cooperative is to provide to the citizens of the member-county service area with enhanced
access to library materials and library services which would otherwise be unavailable under current and anticipated funding. This
cooperative venture has expanded the quality and quantity of library materials to local residents by providing greater access to
regional collections through shared technology, shared resources and cooperative collection development.
