"Movies by Moonlight"
Come and join us Saturday 31st, at 6 PM for our January "Movies by Moonlight" Presenting for Black History Month a story about a young girl raised by a pair of liberal, sophisticated parents, and her announcement to them of her intention to marry a brilliant scientist she met on vacation. One little problem though . . . the parents have a problem with the fact that their daughter loves a black man. We will be showing the movie in the backyard of the Highlands Art League's Yellow House, next to the Library. Moviegoers are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, along with blankets and/or lawn chairs for seating.
Residents of Highlands County will consider libraries as the primary source for all their information needs. Library facilities will be modern, spacious and inviting with full capability to accommodate a variety of activies and services. Library staff will be well trained and capable of assistng library users in negotiating their way through the information network.
