New Garden Tool Lending at the Okeechobee Library!
Want to start gardening but don’t have the supplies to start? Come on in to the Library to visit our Seed Library for seeds, plant pods and soil, and now gardening tools to borrow! Check out a small spade, shovel, or rake for two weeks to start your garden today.

Plant a seed, grow a community. Okeechobee Library's Seed & Gardening Library. Patrons are invited to check-out free seeds and gardening tools at the library to start your own garden! Once your plants have grown and you're ready to harvest, donate some seeds abck to the Library to help the next patron. Limit 5 packs of seeds per family. Tools can be checked out for two weeks; please check out and return items at the front desks.

Select your choice of seeds packs; limit five seed packets per family. Inform staff how many you received. Check out tools for two weeks to help you start your garden; check out and return tools at front desk. After Harvest: bring your newly harvested vegetable seeds to the library staff to share with the community. Enjoy your crop!
